Oh, Laurie! (I tried and thought I had posted before, but nothing appeared, so if this is repetitive, then sorry.)
Susanna does look so little and frightened and bewildered, but she's also safe in her forever mommy's lap and arms, and I do believe that somehow she knows or the knowledge is growing in her that she's now safe and loved for the rest of her life. These are such beautiful pictures! She'll love looking at all of this when she's much older...and from the way that she's eating, skirts won't be falling off for long!
Hey, Laurie, your sense of humor is well intact! You could be a stand-up comic!
On a much less profound note, the cats are fine, as usual Bandit a LOT friendlier than Bouche - but I'm no longer at all spooked by Bouche's endless hissing at me; it's all an act! I've also consulted with various cat experts who tell me that it's ok for me not to leave lights on when I leave. I hope that is ok, in fact.
Lots and lots and lots of love to you both! I can't WAIT TO SEE YOU!!!!!
